 After a rough start to 2025, the Dow has bounced back. At least so far today. 

That will leave some on the fence about their plan to unretire. Maybe they can continue not setting the alarm clock. That had been the universal symbol of being a working stiff.

  Once entitlements Medicare and Social Security kick in there is the opportunity for us to blossom. Just as the artists like Michelangelo did during Renaissance, thanks to the patronage of the Medicis. We have the financial infrastructure to try out what we dream we can do. Of course, our new runway is even longer if we had been investing wisely all those years of nose-to-the-grindstone working. 2025 - "Mixed Bag" and Other Words Will Make You Sound "Old" (and unemployable)

  It's a cringe. And it could knock you out of the box during a job search. That is, out-of-date ways of saying things. That's because you come across as "old." Not that you want to revert to Gen Z slang. That also can make you sound "old" because the gestalt is: They're trying way too hard. Not cool. It was a shocker to find 20th-century term "mixed bag" in an article in Yahoo Finance : "This year was a mixed bag for the large automakers" After all, media is on the defensive, struggling to attract the youth demographic.
